Consequently, for the reasons set forth herein and in the trial court's sound memorandum opinion, we believe the complaint of appellant was properly dismissed.

The rules require the trial court to make threshold determinations on admissibility, including whether evidence is relevant, and whether it is not unfairly prejudicial.
