Basierend auf der Analyse werden verschiedene Aspekte der jakutischen und gleichzeitig der gesamttürkischen und -mongolischen Wordbildungsprozesse erörtert, wie zum Beispiel die historische Entwicklung der Suffixe aus dem Alttürkischen bis zum modernen Jakutisch, Veränderungen im System durch Sprachkontakte oder Ähnlichkeiten und Unterschiede zu anderen Turksprachen.
Außer der formalen Beschreibung stellt das Buch die Funktion der Wortbildungssuffixe in systematischer Form dar und bietet damit eine Grundlage für künftige Arbeiten über vergleichende Wortbildungslehre.
www.uni-mainz.deBased on the analysis, various aspects of Yakut and at the same time Turkic and Mongolic word formation processes are discussed, such as historical development of the suffixes from Old Turkic up to modern Yakut, changes in the system through language contacts, similarities to and divergency from the other Turkic languages.
Besides a formal description, the functional side of the analyzed derivational suffixes is presented in a systematic fashion, providing a general framework for future works on comparative derivational morphology.
