Bis heute sind das Klöntal und die Glarner Alpen ein beliebtes Ziel für Kunstschaffende geblieben.
Darunter etwa Carl Andre, Balthasar Burkhard, Richard Long, Hamish Fulton, Roman Signer, Fischli / Weiss, Christoph Büchel oder Patrick Rohner.
