Eröffnung des Zacharias Frankel College Am 17. November 2013 wurde mit einem Festakt im Centrum Judaicum / Neue Synagoge Berlin das neu gegründete Zacharias Frankel College eröffnet.
Im zur Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (West Coast, USA) gehörenden Frankel College werden in Kooperation mit der Universität Potsdam Masorti/konservative Rabbiner/innen ausgebildet.

Die Konzentration in und um die Bundeshauptstadt ist kein Zufall – hat Berlin mit 11.000 Mitgliedern doch die mit Abstand größte jüdische Gemeinde in Deutschland.
