Bei der Airless- (luftlos) Zerstäubung wird das Material im Gegensatz zur Luftzerstäubung allein über den Materialdruck, also ohne Luft, zerstäubt.
Eine elektrisch, pneumatisch oder benzinbetriebene Pumpe setzt das Material unter Druck und presst eine definierte Materialmenge mit bis zu 25 MPa durch eine Düsenbohrung.

Unlike the case of air atomisation, airless atomisation technology atomises the air using the pressure of the material alone, i.e. without the use of any air.
An electric, pneumatic or petrol-driven pump pressurises the material and forces a defined quantity of material through a nozzle aperture at up to 25 MPa.
