Die Gedanken sollen nicht da und dort zu den Sorgen und Erwartungen meines Alltags herumlaufen ; die Sinne nicht von dem umgetrieben werden, was da zufällig im Kirchenraum Augen und Ohren beschlagnahmen will.
Mein Herz soll hörsam sein auf das Wort Gottes hin, gesammelt in das Beten der Kirche hinein, so daß mein Denken seine Richtung von den Worten der Verkündigung und des Gebetes her empfängt.
Und der Blick meines Herzens soll auf den Herrn hingehen, der in unserer Mitte ist:
