1987 veröffentlichte das Soviet Council of Ministers und im speziellen die Regierung, dass zum 70. Jahrestag der Luftwaffe ein Kunstflugteam an der Show in Tushino teilnehmen sollte.
Die DOSAAF ( Society for assisting the Army, Air Force und Navy ) wurde beauftragt mit Aero L-39 ein Kunstflugteam in Vyazma zu bilden.
Am 18. August 1987 war es soweit.
