Bei einem transaktionalen WFS-Service (gelegentlich auch als WFS-T bezeichnet) können WFS-Editoren Änderungen an den Daten in der Quelldatenbank mithilfe des WFS-Services anwenden.
Um Änderungen durch WFS-T anzuwenden, müssen die Daten aus einer ArcSDE-Geodatabase stammen.
