Die Verstärkungsstruktur wird mittels TFP-Technik hergestellt und mit Hilfe RTM - Verfahren mit Epoxidharz getränkt.
Durch die optimale Faserausrichtung ( radiale Ablage der Fasern an den Krafteinleitungsstellen ) kann die Zug-Druck-Strebe bei einer Masse von nur 30 g sowohl in Zug- als auch in Druckrichtung eine statische Last von 10 kN aufnehmen.

The preform is made by TFP-technique and impregnated with epoxy resin by means of the RTM-method.
Due to the optimal orientation of the fibres ( radial at the load introduction areas ) the Tension-Compression Strut is able to pick up a static load of 10 kN both in tension and compression with a weight of only 30 g.
