Das Bundesministerium der Finanzen gab pünktlich zum Gründungsjubiläum im Oktober das Sonderpostwertzeichen „ 100 Jahre Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut “ aus.
Zum 100. Gründungstag am Sonntag, dem 10. Oktober 2010, wurden die Tore des Friedrich-Loeffler-Instituts auf der Insel Riems erstmals für alle Interessierten zu einem Tag der offenen Tür geöffnet.

At the occasion of the anniversary, the Federal Ministry of Finance had also issued a special stamp “ 100 Years Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut “.
