Es ist mir eine große Freude, als Vertreter des Heiligen Vaters dem Ritus der Seligsprechung von Antonio Rosmini vorzustehen.
Die Freude der Kirche von Trient , wo er geboren wurde , und der Kirche von Novara , wo er gewirkt und seine Seele ausgehaucht hat , breitet sich weit über die Grenzen dieser Diözesen aus .
Welche großartige Wahrheit offenbart sich – aber mehr noch –, verbirgt sich in den bedeutsamen Worten, die der Sohn Gottes in seinem letzten Gebet an den Vater gemäß dem Johannesevangelium gesprochen hat:

Rosmini, the joy of the Church of Trent, his birthplace, and of the Church of Novara, where he worked and where he rendered his soul to God, goes well beyond these vast diocesan borders.
What great truths are revealed, but they conceal even more in the strong expression used by the Son of God in his last prayer to the Father, according to John s Gospel in the passage just proclaimed:
