Kurs war Nyahode, ein kleines Bergdorf circa 20 Kilometer südöstlich von Chimanimani, eine der fruchtbareren Gegenden von Zimbabwe.
Dort wohnten wir in einer Rundhütte im Dorf, das weder an Elektrizität noch an die Wasserversorgung angeschlossen ist, wo es einen Brunnen für die fünfhundert BewohnerInnen gibt und die Herdfeuer niemals ausgehen.
Auch hier waren die Malmaterialien, Wasserfarben, Bunt- und Wachsmalstifte, Pinsel und Papier schnell im Dorf im Umlauf, wurde interessiert das Angebot wahrgenommen, sich durch die Malerei auszudrücken.

There we lived in a round hut in the village that is not connected to the electricity or water supplies, where there is one well for the 500 inhabitants and the cooking fires are never extinguished.
Also here, the painting utensils, watercolours, pencils, brush and paper made their way through the village, the offer to express oneself in painting was taken.
