Daher wurde ein Bottom-up-Ansatz entwickelt, um die NRD-Aktivitäten besser zu koordinieren.
Die Netzwerkmitglieder identifizieren ihre lokalen Prioritäten, wie beispielsweise die Verbesserung der Lebensqualität auf dem Land, die Förderung von Innovation und Forschung, die Verwaltung von Landschaften und Umwelt, Landjugendinitiativen sowie ländlicher Tourismus und Entwicklung.
