Thor McIntyres Projekt „ The Speakers “ hat seinen Ursprung in den unzähligen Twitterstimmen, mit denen sich die Menschen auf den besetzten Plätzen während des arabischen Frühlings Gehör verschafften.
Für La Strada wird der britische Künstler seine Installation noch um eine historische Dimension erweitern :
Gemeinsam mit einem Team des Instituts für Geschichte der Uni Graz lässt McIntyre bisher ungehörte Stimmen aus dem 1. Weltkrieg lebendig werden.
