Angesichts des Internets lässt sich eine Polarität zwischen Einzelinteresse nach dem Ausleben privater Bedürfnisse wie Selbstdarstellung und der Darstellung des Unternehmens entstehen.
Es zeigt sich hier das Verständnis einer prozeduralen Ethik, die vor allem auf die Spielregeln achtet, aber auch die Individualethik und die Professionsethik spielen eine Rolle.
Dabei geht es auch um die Frage, wie man ethische Regeln einer Internet-Kommunikation aufstellen kann, die für Mitarbeiter wie Unternehmen gerecht und verbindlich sind.
