Weiterhin wurde nachgewiesen, dass die Fixierung des protonierten Substrat-N-Terminus von den zwei Glutaminsäuren E205 und E206 abhängig ist.
Allerdings ist die Prozessierung von Substraten mit Prolin in P1-Position ohne Beteiligung von E205 möglich.
