in Wien bestehen noch zwei Kapellen dieser Art ( in der Kirche zur Königin des Friedens, Wien X. und auf dem Kahlenberg ).
Da aber die Wallfahrten und Exerzitien im Sinne dieser Bewegung immer mehr zurückgingen, dachte man vom Bildungshaus her bald an eine Neugestaltung der Kapelle, die allen Gruppen und Gästen des Hauses vorrangig Zugang zur Sinnfrage und dann zum Glaubensleben bieten sollte.
Außerdem zeigte eine Schönstattgruppe aus Oberösterreich Interesse an der Innenausstattung der Kapelle, da sie bei Linz eine weitere Kapelle bauen bzw. ausstatten wollte (was inzwischen auch am Pöstlingberg verwirklicht worden ist).

As pilgrimages and spiritual exercises in this movement declined, one decided on the restructuring of the chapel, so that all groups and guests of the house should have priority access to the questions of life.
The Schoenstatt movement from Upper Austria showed an interest in the interior of the chapel as they had ambitions to build or rather furnish another chapel in Linz (in the meantime one has been realised on Pöstlingberg).
