Paolo Colombani ist Ernährungswissenschafter an der ETH Zürich, wo er Human- und Sporternährung seit vielen Jahren unterrichtet.
Vor über 10 Jahren ergriff er die Initiative eine unabhängige Internet-basierte Sporternährungsplattform aufzubauen.

Paolo Colombani is a nutrition scientist at the ETH Zurich where he has taught human nutrition and sports nutrition for many years.
More than 10 years ago, he came up with the idea to found an independent and web-based sports nutrition information platform.
www.sfsn.ethz.chUnter anderem arbeitet er auch mit Kevin Tipton von der University of Birmingham zusammen, weshalb er einen Teil seines Doktorats in Birmingham absolvierte und ein Forschungsprojekt über den Einfluss von Protein auf die Körperzusammensetzung bei einer Gewichtsreduktion bei Sportlern durchführte.
Seit 2008 arbeitet er als Ernährungswissenschafter an der ETH Zürich.Zudem übernahm er seit Mai 2009 eine Teilzeitstelle als Ernährungswissenschafter am BASPO in Magglingen.
Samuel Mettler hat über zehn Jahre Leichtathletik als Leistungssport betrieben.
www.sfsn.ethz.chA part of his PhD was in collaboration with Kevin Tipton of the University of Birmingham, and so he lived and worked in Birmingham in 2007 for a research project about the influence of protein on body composition during weight loss in athletes.
Since 2008 he is working as nutrition scientist at the ETH Zurich and since 2009 he has a part time position as sports nutritionist at the Swiss Federal Office of Sport in Magglingen.
Sam has been a competitive track athlete for more than ten years.
