Sie schrieb ihre Diplomarbeit im Bereich der Astrophysik zum Thema der Spektroskopie und Photometrie junger variabler Herbig Ae / Be Sterne.
Im Oktober 2009 erlangte sie ihren Abschluss als Diplomphysikerin.
Seit Juni 2010 ist sie bei der Solarion AG in Dresden tätig und untersuchte im Rahmen eines SAB-Projektes Verschaltungsmaterialien auf ihre Langzeitstabilität.
