AFEAS Die im Auftrag von elf Unternehmen der Großchemie, die früher bei FCKW weltweit führten, erstellte Alternative Fluorocarbons Environmental Acceptability Study kommt zu dem Schluß, daß das Ozonabbau-Potential ( ODP ) und das Treibhaus potential ( GWP ) von HFCKW und HFKW viel geringer ist als bei den ( vollhalogenierten ) FCKW.
Nützlich sind die jährlichen Produktions-, Verkaufs- und Emissionsabschätzungen der elf AFEAS-Unternehmen für 10 FCKW, HFCKW und den HFKW 134a.

AFEAS The Alternative Fluorocarbons Environmental Acceptability Study, provided by 11 chemical companies concludes that the ozone depletion potentials ( ODPs ) and global warming potentials ( GWPs ) of HCFCs and HFCs are much smaller than those for the CFCs.
