Erst durch das Hinschauen auf Jesus Christus wird die Freude an Gott voll, wird zur erlösten Freude.
Richten wir in dieser festlichen Feier der Eucharistie unseren Blick auf den Herrn der hier am Kreuz vor uns aufgerichtet ist, und bitten wir ihn um die große Freude, die er in seiner Abschiedsstunde den Jüngern verheißen hat ( Joh 16, 24 ).
Der zweite Teil des Bekenntnisses schließt mit dem Ausblick auf das Letzte Gericht und der dritte mit dem der Auferstehung der Toten.
