Im letzten Jahr organisierte sie mit ihrem Verein AIAS in München die weltweit größte Stammzellenspendeaktion an einer Hochschule.
Dank des Einsatzes haben schon fünf Patienten einen Spender gefunden – unter anderem der US-Boxweltmeister Robert Guerrero.

Last year, the AIAS, the association she founded for the purpose, organized the largest search for stem-cell donors ever carried out at a university.
Donor matches were identified for five patients – including the wife of boxing world champion Robert Guerrero.

Obwohl sie unzählige Forschungsprojekte durchführte, Studienreisen absolvierte und nebenher noch als studentische Hilfskraft arbeitete, gründete sie 2013 die studentische Initiative AIAS.
Der Verein wollte Registrierungsaktionen gegen Blutkrebs an Hochschulen organisieren und vor allem bei Studierenden Aufklärungsarbeit im Bereich Stammzellspende leisten.

In addition to undertaking research projects, educational trips and working as a research assistant, she still found time in 2013 to set up the student Initiative AIAS.
The stated purpose of the association is to organize campaigns to register prospective stem-cell donors from among university students and staffs and, in particular, to inform students about the process and potential of stem-cell donation.
