Since 1969 the new intensive care unit brings together intensive care units and recovery stations 60 and 61 located in the surgical department and offers substantially improved conditions for intensive-medical therapy in pleasant and technically demanding new rooms.
Also organizationally, an important innovation was introduced:
to the CharitéCentren 10 for stomach medicine, intestinal medicine, nephritic medicine and metabolism medicine and 7 - Anästhesiologie, OP management and intensive medicine will pursue this interdisciplinary intensive care unit together in the future.
