Objective The Peruvian government has greater capacity to develop an ambitious yet feasible contribution towards reducing greenhouse gases ( Intended Nationally Determined Contribution, INDC ).
For this purpose it can draw on technically sound and politically agreed proposals from priority sectors .
Approach The INDC Peru project is supporting the Peruvian ministry of the environment both professionally and politically in developing the national contribution to reducing CO2 emissions in a future global climate treaty.
