MECHANICALLY YOURS is Anna Franceschini’s (born 1979) first extensive exhibition in the German-speaking countries.
Curated by Stephanie von Gelmini, the show brings together filmic pieces by the Italian artist dating from 2009 to 2015.

MECHANICALLY YOURS ist die erste umfassende Werkschau von Anna Franceschini (Jg. 1979) im deutschsprachigen Raum.
Die von Stephanie von Gelmini kuratierte Ausstellung bringt filmische Arbeiten der italienischen Künstlerin aus den Jahren 2009 bis 2015 zusammen.

“The urge to keep the family business going was strong,” says Franceschini.
“ I have always had a strong emotional bond with the company.”

„Meine emotionale Bindung zu ihm ist immer eng gewesen.“
www.goethe.deThe photovoltaic plant has only been in operation for a few years, but it was his grandfather who started turning exhaust heat into energy more than 30 years ago.
“Taking care of both one’s staff and the environment means acting with foresight,” says Franceschini.
It is after all in the company’s own interest to adopt a social and ecological approach to the way it does its business – it motivates the employees, consolidates the company image as a job provider, ensures good raw materials and reduces operating costs.

„Sich um die Mitarbeiter und die Umwelt zu kümmern, bedeutet weitsichtig zu handeln“, sagt Franceschini.
Das Kerngeschäft sozial und ökologisch bewusst zu betreiben liege schließlich im Eigeninteresse des Unternehmens, denn es motiviere die Mitarbeiter, stärke das Image als Arbeitgeber, sichere gute Rohstoffe und reduziere Betriebskosten.
