The copy of this instrument used on the present recording is from the workshop of Jürgen Ammer ( 1993 ).
www.cantate.deDer Klangcharakter ist dunkel und grundtönig und erinnert, da durch den doppelten Resonanzboden der Anreißpunkt der Saite stark zur Mittel hin verschoben ist, an Virginal und Laute.
Der in dieser Einspielung verwendete Nachbau des Instruments stammt aus der Werkstatt Jürgen Ammer ( 1993 ).
