The history of the Château Haut-Brion is characterised by many personalities.
Owners respectively proprietors were among others Bishop Admirale, a French field marshal, a governor of the province Guyenne and three mayors of Bordeaux.
They are joined by the famous Charles Maurice Talleyrand (1754 - 1838), at that time foreign minister of Napoleon.
