- Au Royaume-Uni, on fait généralement la distinction entre deux types de journaux : les broadsheets sont des quotidiens de grand format considérés comme des journaux de qualité (Times, Guardian, Daily Telegraph etc.) ; les tabloids font la moitié du grand format traditionnel et sont associés à la presse à sensation (Sun, Daily Mail, etc.).
